The context of our research is the exploration of phenomena and processes at organic/inorganic interfaces.

We develop environmental friendly and low-energy demanding bottom-up fabrication strategies to grow organic semiconductor nanostructures on inorganic surfaces pertinent to the fields of Materials Science and BioNanoTechnology. Furthermore, we explore non-classical phenomena at organic/inorganic interfaces relevant for the understanding of the chemical evolution towards the origin of life.

For our investigations we mainly use Scanning Probe Microscopes, Raman Spectroscopy and theoretical approaches (ForceField Calculations).blank
